Thanks for the …
Thanks for the Question. If you review the comments below I’ve answered this specific question in depth.
In short, Pull Ups are Not bad. The temporary exculsion of this exercise serves to help align the body for the very common internally rotated shoulders and protracted shoulder blades. If you know your standing posture is neutral and normal, there is no need to exclude pull ups.
Good Luck

Thought of another …
Thought of another question: How strict are you supposed to be with the whole “suck your stomach in” thing? I mean, that takes some work, and if you are supposed to breathe in and breathe out which each movement you can’t really keep your stomach in like that.

So…anyone here …
So…anyone here that’s been doing these for awhile? What’s the progress like? I want to exercise other parts of my body (like I have pain in my mid-back, thoracic area), but if I can get my lower back strong first then I’d rather do that.

A very professional wideo. I was very impressed the way the audio and video matched so perfectly. There werent any of the usual delays inbetween. It was like the commentator and the guy doing the exercises had the exact same mind.
Novel and unique exercises aswell. Well done!

just one quick (genuine) question…@ 5:40 in which way does a pull up aggravate back pain? i thought it would provide a relativly ‘stress’ free exercise for the lattisimus dorsi muscles as there was no load as such…? obviously i am wrong but i am still just wondering…having back pain myself and all, thank you in advance

Be careful with …
Be careful with squats. Poor technique and overtraining with squats + stiff leg dead lifts caused me injury + resultant sciatica 10 yrs ago. It took a while for it to resolve. It even returns every now and then.
Your problem could be poor technique, lifting too heavy, or even genetics. You will be more prone to back injuries if you lack a lumbar lordosis (backwards curvature of lowe back). I suggest consulting a physiotherapist. (I’m a doctor, and I get advice from physios at work).
